ST. ALBANS - Thomas V. Page passed away on July 30, 2014 in Burlington. Tom was born Aug. 5, 1941, in Burlington, the son of the late Foster G. and Antonia (Lindner) Page. He grew up on the family farm in Underhill and worked in the sugar woods along with his father for many years. After graduation from Jericho High School, Tom joined the U.S. Navy and served on board the USS Tanner. His working career included time with General Electric Co., HP Hood and Sons, and retirement from the Colchester School maintenance department. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion. Throughout his life Tom enjoyed softball and bowling, as well as being an avid race car fan, having worked on the pit crew for Rob Barcomb for several years. He is survived by devoted sons, Thomas F. Page and Todd J. Page of St. Albans, and Kevin Page of Port Orange, Fla.; grandchildren, Karen Myers (Brian), James Gendron, Thomas Jr., and Christiansen and Dallas Page; great-grandchild, Kody; brothers, Richard Page (Betsy) and Rodney Page (Terri) of Underhill; sisters, Barbara Page (Peter) of Underhill, Deborah Conant (David), and Patricia Yeates (Ken) of Richmond; sister-inlaw, Eunice Bergeron of Colchester; longtime family friend, John McCarthy; cousins in Vermont, New York, Connecticut, and West Virginia; along with numerous nieces and nephews in the area. He was predeceased by wife, Gloria (Kinney) Page. The family would like to extend special thanks to Judy and Joy for their kindness during this difficult time.
