BURLINGTON -- David Heindel, 66, passed away peacefully on Sept. 5, 2014, with family and friends by his side.
David graduated from the University of Vermont, and owned and operated Gonzo Motorcycle for many years. He most recently worked at Edlund Company and appreciated the support they gave him during his illness. One of his passions was riding and working on Harley Davidson motorcycles. David was a proud member of the Super Hog Motorcycle Club and loved to ride with his "brothers." David was an avid reader, and loved the Boston Red Sox.
David is survived by the love of his life, Robin Bushey; sister, Debbie Heindel; niece, Heather Austin; mother-in-law, Elaine Bushey; brothers- and sisters-in-law, John Bushey, Carlene Mackey, Gail Horne, Kenny Bushey, Danny Bushey, Ronnie Bushey, and Holli Bushey; 12 nieces and nephews; 18 great-nieces and nephews; and special "niece," Samantha Mead. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Marge Heindel; and father-in-law, Bob Bushey.
David was a living example of honesty, integrity, generosity, and had a heart of gold. All who knew him will remember him as a loving husband and a friend to all.
