CAROL BLANCHE (PATNODE) BARTLETT - JERICHO - Carol Blanche (Patnode) Bartlett passed away at her home with her loving family by her side on June 11, 2015. Born in Grand Isle on July 30, 1934, she was the daughter of Carl and Arrieta (Roque) Patnode. She was married on Dec. 15, 1956, to her loving husband, Irving A. Bartlett, who survives her. She is also survived by her daughters, Pamela and husband, Steve Spiller, of Westford, and Bonnie and husband, Steve Ayers, of Essex Junction. Carol spent her life as a housewife and homemaker, creating an aura of love and family for those around her. As an established interior decorator, she lent her talent to numerous projects with her husband. Above all else, Carol dedicated her life to her extended families. Carol was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Thelma Weingart, Joyce Cardinal, and Theone Bolduc; and adopted son, Michael Cardinal. In addition to her husband and daughters, Carol is survived by her wonderful sister and friend, Betty Rainville of Essex Junction; special brother, Robert Patnode and wife, Annette, of Florida; dear and special friends, Raymond and Patty Limoge of Florida; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; in-laws; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by good friends Leo and Theresa Compagna of Essex Junction; and numerous business and social associates. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Pamela Dawson, Dr. Donald Majercik, and all the nurses from the VNA. Carol is leaving an irreplaceable void and will be especially missed by all. A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational Church, 39 Main St., Essex Junction, on Monday, June 22, 2015, at 2 p.m. Arrangements are in care of Stephen C.
