The world lost a beautiful soul when the lord came looking for an angel.
Deborah K Martello passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of February 19th, 2016 with her loving husband of 23 years by her side. Deb’s transition to the spiritual world came all too quickly after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Woodward Oklahoma to Darrel and Merle Lehman, she is predeceased by her father and brother Mike.
Deb was an artist who enjoyed expressing herself through her paintings and decorating the home shared and loved with her husband Randy.
Deb also enjoyed gardening and her plants, sometimes trying her hand at varieties from her home state of Texas.
Deb was a quiet and gentle soul who loved cooking and the little things in life, always proud of her roots in Texas and enjoying the Vermont life with friends and family.
Deb was a hard worker, spending the past 15 years at Opportunities Credit Union where she developed many friends.
Deb will forever be remembered for her gentle way and soft Texan voice.
Forever cherishing Deb is her husband Randy, mother Merle Lehman, sister Linda and her husband Bill, brothers Steve and Dwight, and her father in law Mike Martello.
Also in laws Tom and Gail Martello, Pat and Jim Little, Kelly and Randy Quenneville and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life for Deb at the VFW, 73 Pearl Street in Essex junction, Vermont 05452 on Monday between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00PM.
