Lorraine Heath 80, of Waterbury, VT passed away Sunday January 15, 2017 at University of Vermont Medical Center in the comfort of her family.
Born on November 4, 1936 in Waterbury, VT the only child of Lester and Agatha (Tracy) Smith. She Attended school in Waterbury, VT.
A life long resident of Waterbury, Lorraine worked as a waitress and cook for many years in the Waterbury community most recently working in the deli at Crossroads Beverage and Deli in Waterbury.
In her younger years she enjoyed horseback riding and spending many hours picking blackberries and doing ceramics. During her later years she enjoyed reading a good book sitting on her porch birdwatching with her little dog Rascal. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her children Garlindie Smith and her husband John, Norman Lowe Jr, Dwight Lowe and his wife Barbara, Sherrie Lowe and her husband Bud Towndrow, Robin Durand and her husband Howard, Richard Heath II and his wife Deborah of Nevada. 8 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband Norman R. Lowe Sr. in 1966, her son Kenneth Lowe in 1974 , her granddaughter Judith Ann Smith in 1992 and her second husband Richard F. Heath in 2003.
She will be laid to rest along with her husband Richard Heath in the summer at the Waterbury Center Maple Street Cemetery on July 30th at 11:00 am.
