John Joseph “JJ” Clark Jr., age 33, passed away in the early morning of March 21st in the company of his loving family after a valiant and courageous stand against cancer.
John was born on January 2, 1985 in Sarasota, Florida to Neva Dean Combs and John Joseph Clark Sr. He became a resident of Bennington, Vermont where he went to Mount Anthony Highschool. During that time John was a Motocross racer and his passion and amazing talent for music and art began. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with his grandfather, Raymond Galusha and spending time with his grandmother, Sylvia Galusha. In 2010 while John was an employee of Plasan he met the woman that would become his wife, Julie Sukuskas. They moved to Burlington with their three children. After 8 years together and many adventures, He married Julie (Sukuskas) Clark on March 1st, 2018 at University of Vermont Medical Center with the help of the wonderful staff of the Shepardson Department and friends from the UVM Medical Center.
John’s first love was his family, he loved spending as much time as he could with them. He was a man that would do anything for the ones he loved . He was creative and passionate. He had a warmest heart and the freest spirit.
He is survived by his loving wife Julie Clark, his three children Jacob, Shannon and Gage that were the loves of his life. He is also survived by
his Mother Neva Dean Combs and Step-father Roland Combs, his Grandmother Sylvia Galusha, his sister and husband; Neva Jean and AJ Bullet and his two nieces. He predeceased by his grandfather, Raymond Galusha.
