SOUTH BURLINGTON-Edwin Arthur Bruley Sr. (80) peacefully passed away on July 1, 2018 at his home in South Burlington, Vermont surrounded by friends and family. He was born on February 17, 1938 in Rutland, Vermont to Charles and Edith Bruley. He attended Alburg High School. He married Yvonne Longtin on December 7, 1973 and retired as a school bus driver from Champlain Valley Union High School. He had a great love for music and was part of the Maple Creek Band, The Highway Men band and Southern Connection band. He spent countless hours entertaining others with his flair for playing guitar and his love for music. He liked to travel and enjoyed his retirement home in Florida. He will be greatly missed by all.
He was predeceased by his wife Yvonne Bruley; he is survived by his son Edwin A. Bruley JR. and his wife Claudine Bruley. His step daughters Monica Levesque, Jeannette Levesque, Michelle Kirkpatrick and her husband Brian Kirkpatrick. His grandchildren Justin Lafond, John Kirk, Claire Bruley, Kaitlyn Bruley and fiancé Geofrey Scott. His Brother Richard Bruley and his wife Marie Bruley and his niece and nephew Shawn Bruley and Dawn Moak. His great grandchildren; Jaxson Scott, Aurora Scott and Alexis Mashteare.
Visiting hours will be on Friday July 6, 2018 between 6pm and 8pm at Stephen C. Gregory and Son Cremation Service located at 472 Meadowland Drive South Burlington, VT
Grave side service will be held on Saturday July 7, 2018 Time: 10:00 am at Resurrection Park Cemetery located at 200 Hinesburg Rd, South Burlington, VT.
