Karen worked at the Grand Union pharmacy until she went to UVMMC at UHC campus in 1994 and worked as a Pharmacy Technician with people who soon became like her second family. She had an obsession with “The Wizard of Oz” and always joked about how her alter ego was the Wicked Witch. Her generosity and humor outshone the persona she took on as the “Wicked Witch,” and the only resemblance she had was her cackle that made everyone else around her smile. Her sense of humor was unmatched and she could find the humor in almost anything.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 23rd from 2pm-4pm at Stephen Gregory and Son Cremation Service at 472 Meadowland Drive, Suite 7, South Burlington, VT. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the UVM Children’s Hospital.
